  • Event Log: Enables you to read progress and error messages that are useful for checking and troubleshooting switch operation.
  • Diagnostics: Provides access to screens for doing Link and Ping connectivity testing, listing the current switch configuration, and to a command prompt for executing system management, monitoring, and troubleshooting commands.
  • Reboot Switch: Performs a software reboot of the switch, which clears most temporary error conditions, resets the network activity counters to zero, and resets the system up time to zero. A reboot is required (in one case) to activate a configuration change that has been made.
